My younger daughter Amanda just called to point this out on Gawker.com. It’s either horribly embarrassing… or funny (or both). Gawker calls this regular feature Altarcations. It’s a way of scoring each Sunday’s Wedding Announcements in The New York Times, based on pedigree (ivy league schools, degrees, professions, professions of parents (see below: “corporate blogging” doesn’t get any points).
Oh what the heck… Both Eliza and Minor work incredibly hard and I (as the MOTB, aka mother-of-the-bride) think they deserve their 17 points and the top spot today on Gawker!
