Microsoft’s celebrity blogger, Robert Scoble, gave the first presentation this morning at the Blog Biz Summit. Here’s the scoop… He’s young (celebrated his 40th birthday over the weekend), personable and initially comes across as slightly shy. OK, he’s cute too… And an endearing klutz with PowerPoint. The whole time he spoke, only one slide was up. It said “Bootstrapping”… and then that annoying ‘click to add text.’ He was dressed in the requisite black from black button-down shirt to black jacket to black (non-matching) slacks. All in all a very good and engaging speaker. (Is there a lesson here? Put up your PPT slides and then ignore them…) Look forward to hearing more from him this afternoon and tomorrow.
