I just ran across a great acronym… OPEM. Can you guess what it stands for? Other People’s E-Mail. It comes from B2B government marketing expert (and Washington D.C. colleague) Mark Amtower, who says:
“When other respected people endorse you, your work, your seminar, etc, you have increased credibility. So OPEM is getting friends, partners and others to write about you in their e-communications: endorse your seminars, say you should read the newsletter, buy the book, whatever.”
Mark calls this cross-pollination. And, of course, it works.
